An Induction Workshop for a Study on In-service Teacher Education in Sub-Saharan Africa

IICBA, in collaboration with the Teacher Policy Development (TPD) Section of UNESCO HQ, the Commonwealth Secretariat (ComSec), and The Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA), conducted an induction workshop on In-Service Teacher Education in Sub-Saharan Africa on 17-18 October 2011.  During the two-day workshop, a framework was developed for the study, and timelines were agreed for undertaking the research.


Participants from Central African Republic, Ghana, Madagascar, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, the Gambia, and Zambia, along with representatives of ComSec and TPD attended the workshop.
